Mary Warlick of The One Club will talk about the work. … Steve Ohler of McCann Erickson was on hand at the United Nations this month to introduce the media to the shop’s ad campaign letting New Yorkers know about the traffic and other delays to expect as hundreds of world leaders descended on the city last week. Ohler, who was called on unexpectedly from the audience to do the honors, said he tried his best to sound “worldly.” … Hélène Côté and Vanessa MacAdam of DDB and Lisa Rich of MJZ Productions were at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles last Sunday to accept the Outstanding Commercial prize for Ameriquest’s “Surprise Dinner.” Of the gold statue, DDB’s Mark Montero said, “I plan to have it surgically stitched to my hand, so I can walk around with it always.” … John Staffen was among the Arnold staffers at a screening last Tuesday of Mad Hot Ballroom, directed by Marilyn Agrelo, who also filmed a spot for Arnold client Hasbro Games. “Someone told me she had 160 hours of film that went into making this 1 hour and 50 minute movie,” he said. “I think she has 162 hours of film that went into making our 30-second commercial.” … The lineup is set for Fluid Battle of the Ad-Bands III, set for Sept. 26 at New York’s Supper Club.
