BOSTON Edelman Public Relations has been tapped for PR chores by pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca and digital video equipment maker InFocus.

The independent agency won communications chores for four different AstraZeneca brands in separate reviews, according to Susan Isenberg, executive director of Edelman’s health practice in New York. The drugs include schizophrenia treatment Seroquel; Toprol-XL, a beta blocker to treat hypertension, angina and heart failure; Atacand, another hypertension drug; and anticoagulant Exanta.

Work will include various public relations, public affairs and medical assignments throughout the U.S.,
