LOS ANGELES Internet service provider Earthlink is in negotiations to award Crispin Porter + Bogusky creative chores on its $50 million-plus ad account, sources said.

Agency officials declined comment. The Atlanta-based client could not immediately be reached.

Earthlink previously worked with Publicis Groupe shop Leo Burnett, but the two parted earlier this month [Adweek Online, March 5]. The move had been expected, as Chicago-based Burnett absorbed Earthlink creative agency LB Works in December and the shop’s contract with Earthlink expired last month, sources said.
