Dufresne Becomes Top Planner at Lowe

NEW YORK Joan Dufresne has succeeded Richard Lee as head of account planning at Lowe in New York, the agency said.

Lee, who retained the top planning post following Lowe’s merger with Bozell in February, left the shop last month to return to his native Australia, a Lowe representative said. He had been at the New York agency since 2000.

Before the merger, Dufresne, 41, was a managing partner and executive director of brand planning and development at Bozell in New York. Earlier in her career, Dufresne held brand-planning posts at Ogilvy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson.
