Dotglu Reels in Hartz, Kao

NEW YORK Dotglu, the digital- and direct-marketing arm of Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, has landed interactive responsibilities for Kao Brands Co. and Hartz Mountain Co., two clients on its parent’s roster.

As a part of its relationship with Kao, Dotglu will handle Web site development and interactive marketing for the Cincinnati-based company’s brands, including Jergens, Ban, Curel and John Frieda Professional Hair Care, among others.

For Hartz, the unit will relaunch the Secaucus, N.J.-based pet supplies company’s Web site and manage interactive and direct marketing for its grooming products, toys, flea and tick treatments and more.

Dotglu’s work for the marketers is due out in late spring or early summer. The budget was not disclosed.

KB+P landed ad duties for Kao and Hartz in July 2003 and July 2002, respectively.
