Tom Monahan, the former creative director of Leonard/Monahan, is conducting a creative thinking workshop in cooperation with the Rhode Island Advertising Club on Tuesday, June 10, at the Marriott in Providence, R.I.

All proceeds will benefit the three children of the late Paul Kilcullen, former general manager of WLNE, the ABC affiliate in Providence. Kilcullen died of an apparent heart attack while jogging one day last spring. ‘Paul was a client, and we were terrific friends. It’s taken me this long to feel like I could do this for him,’ Monahan said last week.

The three-hour workshop starts at 9 a.m. The cost is $75 per person, with five or more attendees from the same company qualifying for a 20 percent discount.
