KBGear Interactive tapped Campbell Mithun Esty’s KidCom division as its first ad agency.
Company representative Pete Stoddart confirmed the award, saying the Minneapolis agency’s kid marketing unit had “a strong foundation in our target market.”
Peterson Milla Hooks and Gabriel Diericks Razidlo, both Minneapolis, were among the shops competing for the estimated $2-3 million account, sources said.
The Minneapolis company manufactures and markets kid-oriented computer accessories, including digital cameras and mice.
Duties on the account will include the creation of TV and print advertising, point-of-purchase materials and overall branding strategy, Stoddart said.
