RadioShack’s celebrity spokesmen will take a backseat to its high-end, exclusive products in an estimated $80 million-plus effort breaking next month via in-house agency Circle R Group in Fort Worth, Texas, the client said. Three TV spots will separately feature Howie Long, Shaquille O’Neal and Vanessa Williams. The celebs will act as bookends for dozens of variations touting items like Virgin Mobile and iGo products. RadioShack’s first in-theater ad is also in the mix.
