Clear Channel Outdoor has won the advertising rights to the Sacramento public transit system and the San Antonio bus system, bringing the outdoor giant’s annual transit reach to 500 million riders. The five-year contract for Sacramento was effective July 1. San Antonio’s nine-year contract became effective Oct. 1.

The Sacramento contract covers 1,024 advertising displays on trains and buses and 734 bus shelter displays.

With the San Antonio contract, Clear Channel expands its out-of-home footprint in the market to include 682 displays on 341 bus shelters and advertising on 804 buses.
