Carrier Corp. has sent out proposal requests to agencies for its $5-10 million advertising account, a company representative confirmed.
Carrier’s consumer heating and cooling business has been at Euro RSCG Tatham Partners in Chicago since 1996. A rep for Syracuse, N.Y.-based Carrier said Tatham has been invited to defend the business. He declined to provide additional details on the search.
Carrier spent $12 million on media last year and just under $10 million through June of this year, according to CMR.
