MINNEAPOLIS – 1930s director Busby Berkeley is back . . . or at least his renowned synchronized extravaganzas are. A new campaign created by Martin/Williams Advertising, here, for Control Data Systems uses vintage footage of three Berkeley production numbers to convey the theme, ‘It’s amazing what people can accomplish when they work together.’ A national print and TV campaign, breaking throughout August, uses the old movie footage to illustrate Control Data’s skill as an integrator of complex information systems. TV is scheduled to air in selected markets into 1994. Print schedule includes Forbes, Business Week, Fortune, Computer World, Information Week and The Wall Street Journal.
