Brown Assumes Global Role at Cooper Tire

CHICAGO Cooper Tire & Rubber said it has named Patricia Brown to the newly created post of vice president, global branding and communications. The appointment is effective May 1.

Her responsibilities at the Findlay, Ohio, company will include communications, investor relations, brand management and development and graphic arts, as well as oversight for advertising in North America, Asia and Europe.

With a Cooper career spanning 35 years, Brown most recently served as vice president, advertising and communications for Cooper Tire, since 2000.
