U.S. Consumer Confidence Hit Again in March

The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index, which dropped sharply last month to 64.8, fell to 62.5 in March. The New York-based board last week blamed the drop on mounting anxiety during the run-up to war and continued economic uncertainty.

Russell Simmons Debuts Credit Card

Hip-hop mogul and Rush Communications founder Russell Simmons is offering the Rush Prepaid Visa Card. Simmons, in partnership with Unifund Corp., a buyer and seller of distressed debt, last week launched UniRush Financial Services to target consumers who do not have relationships with traditional banking institutions.
