Asian Advertisers Deal Opens Pacific Rim
CHICAGO–Bozell Kamstra will use its new alliance with Asian Advertisers/USA to combine resources and build its network internationally, executives at the Minneapolis agency said.
The alliance, which does not involve cash or a stock swap, was announced last week. It was formed as a way to satisfy joint client Fujitsu Corp., which encouraged Asian Advertisers to seek a single global partner with a “full range of integrated services,” BK representative Connie McCaffrey said.
Asian Advertisers had previously worked with a network of agencies across the country.
Santa Clara, Calif.-based Asian Advertisers is a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Asian Advertisers Inc., and focuses on helping Japanese companies advertise in the U.S.
“Our partnership brings synergy that will definitely benefit certain clients,” BK president Dean Buresh said in a statement. “Working closely with Asian Advertisers will also broaden our already substantial international capabilities.”
BK will use the alliance to pursue international clients with a Pacific Rim focus, McCaffrey said.
Wayne Moles, Asian Advertisers’ managing director, said BK’s business philosophy and branding experience made the alliance “a great fit.”
