Bozell Bicoastal

Harvey Hoffenberg, managing partner and chief creative officer of Bozell Worldwide, Costa Mesa, Calif., is taking on a new role at the agency.
Hoffenberg has been assigned to work on creative projects for Bozell’s New York office, according to a statement from the agency. He joined Bozell in 1995 to head up creative work on the agency’s former Taco Bell account and was later promoted to oversee the creative department in Costa Mesa.
Hoffenberg will continue to work in Costa Mesa for now, according to Dan Pittman, senior managing director of Bozell Sawyer Miller Group, Bozell’s public relations arm. Hoffenberg said it “hasn’t been decided yet” if and when he will move back to New York. “I’m not lifting myself up to move now,” he said.
Hoffenberg’s reassignment coincides with the promotion of executive vice president and managing partner Phil Salvati to president. The agency has also brought in Jim Harrington, senior partner and director of client service development in New York, to be general manager in Costa Mesa, reporting to Salvati. Executive vice presidents and co-creative directors Scott Montgomery and Ken Sakoda will head the creative department there.
