Bacou-Dalloz Engages PJA

BOSTON The Bacou-Dalloz Fire Safety Group has hired PJA for advertising services and Shift Communications for public relations following a review.

The client is located in Smithfield, R.I., and sells personal protection equipment for use in all sectors where men and women are at risk. Its markets include manufacturing, construction, telecommunications, homeland security, medical and public services, among others. The company offers a complete range of head protection equipment (eye/face, hearing and respiratory) and body protection equipment.

“They’re prepared to launch and market some exciting product additions and elevate their market presence,” said PJA svp, account services Adam Sholley.

PJA in Cambridge, Mass., will handle advertising, collateral, direct mail, trade show materials and interactive services. The agency will also manage media planning and buying. The independent shop will partner with Boston-based Shift for publicity and media relations chores.

“We undertook an exhaustive review process to identify our new agency partners,” according to John Montigny, vp, marketing at Bacou-Dalloz.

Projected spending was not disclosed.
