A-B to Launch World Series Promos





ST. LOUIS – Anheuser-Busch is launching a major promotion tied to the World Series, titled the Bud World Series Classic, which will offer up to $700,000 in cash prizes during the World Series in October. The $6.6-million media buy includes promotional spots from D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles/St. Louis beginning late next month. In addition, the brewer will launch its Budweiser Monster Party Weekend promotion for Halloween weekend, supported mostly by point-of-sale materials. D’Arcy is handling the Halloween promotion as well.
