AriZona Beverages introduced a kid-sized bottle of its lemon iced tea and pledged to donate a portion of the line’s sales to Operation Smile, a children’s charity dedicated to treating facial deformities.
The AriZona Kidz teas will be available in the northeastern United States starting this summer, and later in other markets. The beverage company will donate 5% of the net sales of every six-pack to Operation Smile. A six-pack of the teas retails for $2.99.
“Over 1,000 children have received new smiles and new lives as a result of AriZona’s continued generosity,” said Kristie Magee Porcaro, Operation Smile’s vp of U.S. development and global partnerships.
Each 10-ounce bottle, which is packaged in PET plastic with an oxygen barrier to keep the tea fresh, contains information about the charity and has a soccer, basketball, or baseball design “to encourage children to smile,” per the company.
