LOS ANGELES Videogame maker Activision is speaking with at least six shops about its estimated $20 million account, sources said.

They include BBDO West and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, both in San Francisco; DDB in Los Angeles; Deutsch/LA in Marina del Rey, Calif.; one small, undisclosed San Francisco shop; and Colby & Partners in Santa Monica, Calif., which is currently working on the business, sources said.

Dentsu’s Colby recently picked up the account when the decision was made to shutter Publicis Groupe’s D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in Los Angeles.
