Brimmer has made a name for Ally as a champion of women’s sports by putting the brand’s sponsorship money behind its gender equality messaging in significant ways. Under Brimmer’s leadership, the online bank pledged this year to close the gap between its paid advertising spending on women and men’s sports programming over the next five years. Brimmer also worked with partners at CBS and the National Women’s Soccer League to give the 2022 women’s championship game a primetime television slot, a first for the decade-old league.
