-Uber Eats is getting iced with its latest “Tonight I’ll be Eating” spot. The ad features former NHL rivals Patrick Roy and Mario Tremblay reviving their classic match from 26 years ago, this time on a table hockey game. The “Reunion” spot, by agencies Special Group and Mosaic, starts with a stare-down while the camera pans to a perfect Roy man cave as they exchange “shots” about what they’ve ordered through Uber Eats.

-The pandemic changed consumer behavior, sending people online and into the ecommerce world. To address this massive shift, Horizon Media company Night Market is hosting its advertising upfront dedicated to online shopping, eCommFronts.

-Independent agencies are experiencing a rush of interest many say they never experienced before the pandemic, and many applicants are coming from holding companies.

-Agencies and clients alike will say the review process is less than ideal. Consultancy AgencyAgile is trying to reimagine the process in a way that corrects the issues.

-Cannabis tech company Weedmaps has picked Wheelhouse Labs as its entertainment marketing agency of record.

A$AP Rocky is joining buy-now-pay-later platform Klarna as an investor and—for a one-day stunt at least—CEO.

-Having candid conversations about mental health has always been at the core of Madhappy’s mission, but the lifestyle brand took its messaging to a new level during Mental Health Awareness Month in May.

-Golden Road Brewing has launched an imaginary tourism campaign for its Mango Cart Wheat Ale with D’Arcy Carden.
