Last year, Marvel announced that Ta-Nehisi Coates, a National Book Award-winning author, has signed on to write for the new Black Panther series. In the video embedded above, Coates talks about the traits of Black Panther (a.k.a. T’Challa) and the world that this character inhabits.
Entertainment Weekly reports that this piece marks the debut of a new Black Panther-themed video series. A new video “is set to launch each month alongside the comic.”
The publisher released the first issue of the Black Panther series last month. Brian Stelfreeze, a seasoned comics artist, created the artwork for this book. (via Comic Book Resources)
