-Take your mind off of the election for a second and check out the above video featuring Wieden + Kennedy chair Susan Hoffman. In it, she reads an old letter from the agency’s co-founder, Dan Wieden, that she says “reminds us all how important it is when somebody cares about us.”

-Most brands have managed to stay quiet, as least thus far, since last night. Except for the Gap, which tweeted an image of a red and blue hoodie today. “The one thing we know, is that together, we can move forward,” the tweet said. This, unsurprisingly, did not go over well. And yes, it’s already been deleted.

-IPG’s outgoing CEO Michael Roth wants us to find common ground as we wait for the outcome of the election.

-Heineken and Publicis Groupe are setting up a new agency model called Le Pub. It will be housed in an Amsterdam bar.

-Meditation app Calm was the most 2020 brand partner for CNN’s election coverage.

-RPA cut roughly 6% of its staff last week.

-Fans of Schitt’s Creek will enjoy this holiday ad for Canadian department store Hudson’s Bay.
