AgencySpy Dog of the Year Awards, Round 6

By Erik Oster

We’ve got another round of AgencySpy Dog of the Year Award winners for you to unwind with this afternoon. This round features everything from an agency PR pup to an especially patient good girl and a dog that helped inspire a musical compilation. Please don’t get concerned if you haven’t seen your favorite agency dog yet, we received an overwhelming number of submissions we we still have a lot of dogs to get through.

Lola is an independent agency’s best friend. This diligent doggo is always hard at work digging up stories for independent agencies, with some occasional breaks for fetch, walks on the beach and treats. For her canine communications contributions, we’ve awarded her the AgencySpy Dog of the Year Roy Elvove Award for Achievement in PR.

The Marketing Store promised that Winston’s Disney eyes will melt you every time. Well, consider us melted. For a look right out of classic animation, we’ve awarded Winston the AgencySpy Dog of the Year Lady Award for Best Disney Eyes.

Lady Award for Best Disney Eyes:

When it comes to inspiring creatives, Rosie is a Riveter. While she’s stuck at home for now, she’s looking forward to once again walking the halls of SRG Boulder in a joint role as security and creative muse. Here’s hoping that’s not too far off. We’ve awarded Rosie the AgencySpy Dog of the Year Creative Companion Award.

Creative Companion Award:

Speaking of creative inspiration, St. Louis agency Moosylvania is home to a musical muse of a dog named Doc. Doc inspired co-workers a fundraiser called JustFurrFunn in which the agency commissioned 17 musicians to write an original album of dog-inspired songs in support of animal shelters nationwide. For this act of musical inspiration and because this dog kind of looks a bit like Jerry Garcia, we’ve awarded Doc the AgencySpy Dog of the Year Jerry Garcia Award for Musical Inspiration. Keep on truckin’ Doc.

Jerry Garcia Award for Musical Inspiration:

Heidi is a girl of the independent Atlanta agency Dagger. She has a certain something many dogs lack: patience. Heidi waits patiently to be art directed for Instagram photos, no easy feat, and one which has earner her the AgencySpy Dog of the Year Patient Pupper Award. We’re sure she’d like to shake on it.

Patient Pupper Award:

Like people, some dogs just seem to have smiles that leave it impossible not to smile back. Oh wait, dogs are people. Anyway, Charlie over at Huge is a golden retriever with a big, gregarious smile that’s impossible not to love. If you’re having a tough day take a look at this guy and you can’t help but feel a little better. We can’t imagine a more worthy recipient award for the AgencySpy Dog of the Year Most Contagious Smile Award. We understand he’s also quite good at fetch.

Most Contagious Smile Award:

Charlie isn’t the only top dog at Huge. Described as “the best networker in all of Brooklyn” for her practice of stopping dogs and humans alike to display her belly, she’s the winner of the AgencySpy Dog of the Year Bellyrub Networker award.

Bellyrub Networker Award:

As evidenced by the previous round of winners, we are quite fond of our rescue pups. On the opposite coast, Sophie calls Los Angeles agency Reach home and has forged a special bond with her team. Acting as Paw-risedent of the agency, she has been the heart of Reach since Gabe Gordon first adopted her. We’ve named Sophie the winner of the AgencySpy Dog of the Year Heart and Soul Award for her deep connection to the agency.
