By Erik Oster

DDB New York has appointed three new executive creative directors, promoting group creative director Hannah Fishman and hiring Cam Hoelter and Cheryl Horsfall. All three will report directly to DDB New York chief creative officer Icaro Doria

The appointments follow the agency beating out San Francisco’s Eleven and Leo Burnett to win the Time Warner Cable account from twelve-year incumbent Ogilvy & Mather (which sat out the review) earlier this month, as well as the arrival of Wendy Clark began her tenure as North American president and CEO of DDB Worldwide.

DDB Chicago also just won the Jeep account, but the agency can’t comment on that win or the TWC business yet.

“These are exciting times at DDB New York as we continue to build a strong creative team with diverse backgrounds and capabilities,” Doria told Adweek.

Fishman arrived at DDB New York as a group creative director a year ago, following six and a half years with Edelman Digital as vice president, creative director, working with clients including Samsung, Dove, AXE, and Pfizer. Before that she held design positions at Everyday Health, Borders, and the DaimlerChrysler Corporation. In her new role, she will continue leading the agency’s Johnson & Johnson account while also taking on overseeing creative on Electrolux and Frigidaire.

Hoelter comes from DDB Sydney, where he spent the past five years as creative director and then deputy executive creative director. Prior to joining DDB, he spent two years as a creative director with The Campaign Palace, after making the jump to the creative director position with Clemenger BBDO, where he began as an art director.

Horsfall arrives as a ten-year veteran of Digitas’ health division, where she most recently served as vice president, group creative director. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly three years as a senior copywriter with TBWA, a title she previously held at Saatchi & Saatchi and Wells Rich Greene.

“Hannah has done a brilliant job driving the creative agenda of Clean & Clear in the US and globally,” added Doria. “Cheryl is a game changer with a passion for emerging tech and healthcare, and Cam’s outstanding creative leadership is evidenced by his time spent at DDB Sydney where he oversaw creative for some of Australia’s biggest and most iconic brands.”
