KFDX-KJTL news director Adam Bradshaw has died. He was 62.
The Wichita Falls, Texas Fox station announced the news on its website last night.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved leader, our news director Adam Bradshaw, 62,” the station said. “Adam came to KFDX and Texoma’s Fox in the Spring of 2018. The Pride that Adam exemplified toward our tradition of excellence, both on-air and online, will forever be an inspiration to all of us. He loved the news business and was always available to share his wealth of information with a new generation of journalists.”
Between 2006 and 2015, Bradshaw worked as news director at KVVU in Las Vegas, where he was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. He’s also worked as news director at WHEC in Rochester, N.Y. and at KTVX in Salt Lake City.
“Adam was an avid sports fan. His childhood hero was Walter Cronkite,” said the station. “Adam was not only our helmsman, he was our mentor and friend.”
