Josh Love has been promoted to assistant news director at Toledo, Ohio, ABC affiliate WTVG, according to the Toledo Blade.
Love was executive producer at WTVG. He’s also worked as a producer, a photographer and an editor since he started at the station.
“Josh brings tremendous talent, knowledge, and determination to this key position,” said WTVG news director Brian Trauring. “He has facilitated solutions and contributed terrific creativity to our news operation. He has managed election coverage with excellent results and produced special events including portions of Toledo’s water crisis coverage.”
Love takes over for Anthony Knopps who left WTVG to take the news director job at cross-town CBS affiliate WTOL.
