Longtime WPLG anchor Todd Tongen has died.
According to the ABC station in Miami, the 56-year-old was found dead in his home Monday morning. Police were called after his wife couldn’t reach him. She was out of town at the time.
The cause of death was not immediately known.

Tongan worked in Miami for three decades. He began his career in 1983 in Minnesota.
He wore many hats during his time at WPLG, most recently as the weekend morning anchor.
