Katiera Winfrey is leaving Indianapolis station WISH to join her hometown station KHOU in Houston.
“I’ve been waiting on this return since I left my hometown of Houston 11 years ago,” she wrote on social media. “And I’ll soon be returning as a reporter for KHOU 11 News in December. Amazing things can truly happen when you let go and let God. Forever grateful for my time at WISH-TV for making another wish come true nearly four years ago.”
Winfrey joined WISH in 2019 and is the station’s first multicultural reporter. She has also worked in Texas, Oklahoma, and Allentown, Pa.
