KXRM, the Fox affiliate in Colorado Springs, has hired a new weekend anchor.

Megan Hucks appeared on the anchor desk this weekend for the first time.  She comes from WITN, the NBC affiliate in Greenville, North Carolina.

Fox 21 news director, Joe Cole, told TV Talk: “we are excited to have Megan Hucks join the team. She’s an outstanding journalist and will fit in nicely with both our weekend and weekday morning teams. She will join Maddie Kirker (and Chester) on the Weekend Morning show from 5-7 a.m.”

While in Greenville, Hucks covered the HB2 “bathroom bill” extensively.

She appeared in promos with her new weekend team leading up to the launch.

Hucks replaced anchor Macy Egeland, who left the station in July.  She is now an evening anchor at News 12 Long Island.
