Former WHO political director Dave Price is returning to local TV.
Price left the Des Moines, Iowa NBC affiliate in April. He joins Gray Television as its Iowa political director and analyst. He will also appear on a weekly political show.
The Des Moines Register said Price is “a well-known presence in the state’s political media, especially as an expert on the Iowa Caucuses.”
He stated working at WHO in 2001. When he left, he was the station’s managing editor and Sunday evening news anchor and also the host and executive producer of a Sunday community affairs show The Insiders.
The Illinois native started his career at KMOX radio station in St. Louis. He’s also worked as the morning news anchor and assignment manager at KOMU in Columbia, Missouri and at WNCF in Montgomery, Alabama.
