WHO Political Director Dave Price Leaving Station After 22 Years

WHO political director Dave Price has announced his plans to leave the Des Moines, Iowa NBC affiliate after 22 years.

“Some personal news…After 22 years at WHO 13 (and it began with a two-year contract!), I’ve decided to find my ‘what’s next.’ I’m so thankful to my colleagues for their teamwork and friendship, so grateful to viewers who trusted me…” he wrote on twitter.

Price is also the station’s managing editor and Sunday evening news anchor. He also hosts and executive produces the Sunday community affairs show The Insiders.

The Illinois native started his career at KMOX radio station in St. Louis. He’s also worked as the morning news anchor and assignment manager at KOMU in Columbia, Mo., and at WNCF in Montgomery, Ala. He joined WHO in 2001.
