Former WABC Anchor Ken Rosato Allegedly Targeted Female Co-Anchor in Hot Mic Comment That Got Him Fired

By Kevin Eck

After former WABC morning anchor Ken Rosato was abruptly fired last week, there was some speculation around what he might have said that caused him to be fired from his longtime job as morning anchor at the New York ABC owned station.

Allegedly, Rosato was “immediately fired” after he allegedly called co-anchor Shirleen Allicot a “c**t,” according to an anonymous source cited by Page Six.

Rosato was off-air when he made the comment, but it was picked up by an open mic.

He joined WABC as a freelancer in 2003 and had been an anchor at the station since 2007.
