Diane Masciale Adds VP Title as GM of PBS Station WLIW

Diane Masciale has been named vp and GM of WLIW, the PBS station in Long Island.

Masciale will also be the ep of Local Productions for New York PBS station WNET overseeing the daily tv production and multi-platform news magazine for the Tri-State region.

The addition of the vp title makes her an officer of the institution.

According to her LinkedIn page, she’s worked at WNET-WLIW since November 2011. She left ABC in November 2012, where she had worked as executive editor of ABC’s Good Morning America and as an ep in the ABC Long Form Unit. Between 1993 and 2006, she was at NBC, working as acting ep and senior Broadcast Producer for NBC’s Today Show and as senior broadcast producer for Dateline NBC.
