Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy Continues Its Second Season Sunday, Oct. 9

By Mark Mwachiro

The second half of season two of Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy continues, with four new episodes beginning Sunday, October 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CNN.

In these latest episodes, Oscar nominee and Emmy Award-winning actor Stanley Tucci will explore the rich pesto alla Genovese in Liguria, the airy focaccia Barese in Puglia—and sharp pecorino shepherd’s cheese in Sardinia. He will also make a special visit to Calabria, the region where his grandparents were born, to learn what has changed since he last visited as a twelve-year-old boy.

Earlier this year, the debut of the first installment of the second season was pushed back from March to May, due to CNN’s breaking news coverage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Searching For Italy won the 2021 and 2022 Emmy Awards for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series. The series is executive produced by Stanley Tucci, Shauna Minoprio, Robin O’Sullivan and Eve Kay for RAW—and Amy Entelis, Lyle Gamm, and Jon Adler for CNN Original Series.

Previous episodes of Searching for Italy, alongside other CNN Originals, are now available on a dedicated CNN Originals hub on Discovery+.
