Protesters at the Democratic National Convention shouted at Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera, in an incident that included one protester pouring a bottle of water over Rivera’s head.
The encounter was captured on cell phone video and shared on social media. In the video, Rivera responds amiably to the protesters who surround and shout at him, at one point asking them if they support a free press. Moments later, a protester approaches Rivera from behind and douses him with water.
Rivera, ushered away by a security officer who says “we gotta go,” emerges smiling and immediately gets back to work, recording a standup. When he and his crew are followed by shouting protesters, Rivera says “we get it.”
