If Sean Hannity Had To Be A Politician, He’d Be President

By Brian

Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes had interesting answers to this question, in an amusing Q&A with the Fresno Bee:

Q: If I could hold a public office, it would be…

Hannity: I honestly don’t want one, but if I had to pick one, why wouldn’t I go for the top position – the president of the United States. After all, who wouldn’t want that plane and helicopter?

Colmes: …a mistake. I’m a broadcaster. At my first full-time job in radio, by boss made the point that if you’re on radio, and I’ll extend that to television, every day, you have an intimate relationship with your audience and more influence than elected officials. The legislative branch may make laws, and governors and presidents may have executive authority, but I get to talk to people, know what they’re thinking and share my thinking with them, and they with me, on a day-to-day basis.
