Fans of “The King of Queens” were asked a few days ago on Facebook to vote for their favorite episodes, and now the top ten will air in a weekend marathon on TV Land. Out of 1.4 million total fans on the “The King of Queens” Facebook page — it was also shared from TV Land’s page — nearly 5,000 placed their votes.
Fans could watch a 30-second clip to jog their memory, then when they voted, it shared the clip (you could cancel out) with a link for others to vote. I imagine some people voted and shared ten clips in a row, which would be just a tad excessive.
TV Land’s Facebook vote is great way to dig into the archives, engage a core fan base and promote an upcoming show. The marathon airs this Sunday, November 13 from 9pm ET/PT to 2am ET/PT.
