The story begins ten years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, in which Obi-Wan Kenobi suffered his greatest defeat—the death and corruption of his best friend and Jedi pupil, Anakin Skywalker, who later became the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, played by Ewan McGregor, keeps a close eye on a young Luke Skywalker, while Darth Vader, his former student, is on the lookout for one of the few remaining Force practitioners, assigning murderous Inquisitors to find and destroy him.

The series stars McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and marks Hayden Christensen‘s return in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.
