Once again, Ozark crushed the competition in the streaming wars as it racked up over 3 billion viewing minutes, according to the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 report for the week of May 2. The viewing demographic for the series remains evenly split between male and female viewers, and two-thirds of the viewing demographic are in the 35-64 age range. Ozark also took the top spot in the Top 10 Original Streaming Programs list.
Grace and Frankie, starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, is holding strong in the No.2 spot on both the Top 10 Streaming and Top 10 Streaming Original Programs list, with a viewing demographic that skews 77% female. The sci-fi western Outer Range is also a consistent performer for Amazon with 425 million viewing minutes, and The Wilds earned an impressive 262 million viewing minutes.
The season finale of Marvel’s original series Moon Knight was the third most-streamed program with 715 million viewing minutes for Disney+. In addition, the animated features Encanto (449 million viewing minutes) and Turning Red (340 million viewing minutes) are proving to be viewing favorites for Disney+ as well.
