Moonhaven Canceled at AMC+ Despite Season 2 Renewal

By Jessica Lerner

Moonhaven has been canceled at AMC+ despite being renewed for a second season.

The news comes days after AMC Networks CEO Christina Spade exited and the company made significant cost-cutting announcements, including laying off 20% of its U.S. employees and write-downs of up to $475 million as the company restructures.

Moonhaven’s cancellation is part of the write-downs, according to Deadline.

The cast includes Dominic Monaghan, Emma McDonald, Amara Karan, Ayelet Zurer, Kadeem Hardison, Yazzmin Newell, Joe Manganiello, Elaine Tan, Bamshad Abedi-Amin, Josh Tedeku, Martha Malone, Adam Isla O’Brien, Nina Barker-Francis, Lilit Lesser, George Georgiou, Arthur Lee, Amy Ledwidge, Charis Agbonlahor, Robyn Holdaway, Seán T. Ó Meallaigh, Helen Roche, Medivic Bakanababo and Thom Ashley.
