Disney+ has pushed the premiere date for the new Star Wars series Andor to September.

This move gives viewers a bit of breathing room from the overcrowded summer of streaming and saves the Disney+ series from squaring off against the highly anticipated release of sure-to-be juggernaut series Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and HBO Max’s House of the Dragon.

The Lucasfilm 12-episode series is set before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The first three episodes will debut on Sept. 21. In a newly released trailer, viewers get their first look at Cassian Andor’s quest to learn how much of an impact he can make in the Star Wars galaxy during the mounting rebellion.

The series tells the story of the escalating rebellion against the Empire and how individuals and planets got involved. In this period of danger, deceit and intrigue, Cassian will start down the path that will eventually make him a rebel hero.

Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor and is joined by cast members Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Fiona Shaw. The executive producers are Luna, Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg and Michelle Rejwan. Gilroy is also the creator and showrunner.
