Eric Carle Museum to Host Robert McCloskey Exhibit

The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art is hosting an exhibit on The Art of Robert McCloskey.

Curator Emeritus Nick Clark is heading up the exhibit which will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Robert McCloskey’s classic children’s book Make Way for Ducklings. The event will be the first U.S. retrospective of the author’s original art. The exhibit will mainly focus on the Caldecott winning book, but it will also feature work from several other titles including: Lentil, Homer Price, and Centerburg Tales.

Clark will host a talk on McCloskey’s work on Sunday, June 19 at 1 p.m.
