-McDonald’s lost the right to trademark “Big Mac” in the EU after suing Irish chain Supermac’s, so Burger King Sweden is trolling its competitor with a “Not Big Mac” menu (video above).

-VMLY&R worked with Nashville marketing agency FlyteVu on Bumble’s “The Ball Is In Her Court” Super Bowl debut starring Serena Williams.

-Huge hired Christie Allport, former head of PR for DDB, in addition to promoting Arif Mansuri to managing director of business strategy and hiring Jennifer Rafford as group vice president of talent.

-Energy BBDO’s Super Bowl spot for Avocados From Mexico features a reverse dog show where humans compete for avocados.

-Facebook posted record profits despite all the data privacy revelations. Yay!

-Revolut’s new campaign looks an awful lot like the ads for a certain music streaming service.

-WPP sold its 30 percent stake in global strategy consultancy Richard Attias & Associates back to existing stakeholders. 

-CP+B London hired Dave Day as executive creative director.

-Labour MP Tom Watson called the use of cartoon mascots to sell sugary cereal to kids “grossly irresponsible” at an Advertising Association event and called for “radical changes on marketing food.”
