-Accenture is reportedly one of three finalists in the bidding for all of MDC Partners.

-72andSunny beat out W+K, VB&P and GS&P to win the NFL. Could it because that organization’s new CMO formerly led marketing for their client Activision?

-On the flip side, Mekanism won Coors Banquet. Unclear what this means for the Coors Light account.

-It’s the return of “smellvertising” as Pillsbury pumps the familiar scent of cinnamon rolls into theaters this holiday. At least it’s not bear repellent.

-Britain’s The Investment Association named WPP among 32 “repeat offenders” that have supposedly failed to respond to investor revolts over “excessive executive pay.”

Sir John Hegarty told The Drum that consolidation doesn’t work, but the entire industry already made their decision on that front.
