Los Angeles-based creative agency Omelet appointed Thas Naseemuddeen as its new chief strategy officer, responsible for leading the agency’s strategy department on developing, communicating, and executing strategic planning initiatives for current clients and collaborating with Omelet’s new business team to attract future clients. The appointment arrives on the heels of the arrivals of chief creative officer Grant Holland and chief production officer Dan Ruth from 72andSunny in the past two months.
Naseemuddeen arrives at Omelet from Deutsch L.A., where she served as vice president, group strategy director since July of 2014, working with clients including Target, HTC, California Milk Advisory Board and Georgia Pacific. She arrived at Deutsch nine months earlier as a planning director on the agency’s Diamond Foods accounts before receiving the promotion. Prior to joining Deutsch, she served as a senior strategist for Bartle Bogle Hegarty for a year and a half, working with clients including Google, Red Bull, Paramount Studios and Disney, and then spent six months as a freelance strategist. She has also worked as a senior strategist for Team One, a strategic planner for TBWA\Chiat\Day and a brand strategist for The Lambesis Agency.
