Revolving Door Roster Updates: Bounteous, GroupM, Someplace Nice & More

Before we kick off our Labor Day Weekend celebrations, let’s take a moment to celebrate the talented individuals who secured new roles at agencies around the world this week.

Advocado

Advocado welcomed former GroupM global chairman and CEO Irwin Gotlieb and veteran media and technology entrepreneur Steven Saslow to its board of directors. The two will work to accelerate the agency’s vision by identifying and prioritizing partnerships and alliances and refining market positioning.

Ascend4M

Joel Klaiman, former Sony Music Entertainment executive, launched Ascend4M. The agency specializes in music, media, marketing and management.

Bounteous

Bounteous named Larry Hinz its chief financial officer. Hinz will work to accelerate the digital transformation firm’s global expansion and growth.

C&R

C&R named Cayla Kondo as vice president, real estate. Kondo will lead the agency’s growing real estate portfolio, invigorate its offerings and drive growth trajectory goals.

Delineate

Delineate is growing its London team across its brand tracking, campaign and media departments. Simon Staplehurst joined as client director, Olga Roffey as client success manager and David Lo as senior client success manager.

French/West/Vaughn

French/West/Vaughn made three new hires and three new promotions for its Raleigh, North Carolina headquarters. Hires include Christie Mandia as senior counselor in account management, Amy Dragelin as account coordinator and Leslie Guzman as multimedia coordinator. Promotions include Colleen Pacheco to associate vice president, Kaitlyn DeSimone to group account director and Lauren French to account supervisor.

Gravy Films

Gravy Films signed Sebastian Hill-Esbrand to its roster for U.S. commercial representation. Hill-Esbrand is best known for his 2022 short film “Family” that garnered awards and recognition from Cannes, Shorts Awards, Director’s Notes, 1.4 Awards, Hot Docs and Young Guns.

GroupM

GroupM promoted Karin Ross to GroupM CEO Dach. Ross will lead Dach’s encompassed three markets—Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Hedgehog Lab

Hedgehog lab, a global tech consultancy, has appointed Clare Weightman as head of client engagement. Weightman will be responsible for supporting the agency’s growth, bolstering client partnerships and upscaling hedgehog lab’s businesses.

Imposter

Imposter signed Zach Woods to its roster for North American representation. Woods is best known for his roles as Jared Dunn on HBO’s Silicon Valley and Gabe Lewis on NBC’s The Office.

Latcom

Latcom signed Marcelo Fiore on as business development director for U.S. and LATAM. Fiore will promote the development of new businesses and the administration of the agency’s client portfolio.

Principles

Principles brought on Nicci MIlls to lead its digital expansion. Previously the content head at Rise at Seven, Mills will strengthen the brand communications agency’s digital offering.

Publicis Media

Publicis Media appointed Steve Ricketts as its new chief commerce officer. It also named Ian Black as head of retail media. 

Setup

Setup promoted Amanda Thompson from chief operating officer to president. Thompson will manage internal operations and help marketers thrive by connecting them with top people and resources industry-wide.

Snap

Snap named Bridget Lea its new U.K. general manager. Lea will lead business strategy, sales, operations and community growth within the region.

Socially Powerful

Socially Powerful signed Tina Fegent on as non-executive director. Fegent will work to support the strategic business growth of the agency.

Someplace Nice

Someplace Nice welcomed Soleil to its roster for representation. The Montreal director is known for her work with brands like Knix, Molson, Mejuri, Canada Goose and Shopify.

TMW Unlimited

TMW Unlimited, part of Unlimited, has made three senior appointments. Emma Norman has been promoted to managing director, Olivia Wedderburn has been promoted to executive social influence director, and Emma Banks has been hired as a planning director.

Unfold

Digital creative agency Unfold has hired Scott Zimbler as senior vice president of growth. Zimbler will work closely with the Unfold leadership team to develop and execute business development strategies to meet both short- and long-term revenue goals.

Whalar

Global creator company Whalar appointed Jason Li to the newly created role of global evp, strategy. In that role, he will oversee Whalar’s global creative strategy team, building out innovative frameworks for ideation and brand storytelling to transform into creator content. Li will report to Whalar CEO Rob Horler.
