Adriano is that talent, not to mention a wonderful human being,” said Liz Taylor, global chief creative officer at Ogilvy in a statement. “He’s known as someone who can unite capabilities and disciplines to drive modern, integrated ideas that have an outsized impact—and I can’t wait to see how he brings that to this role.”

He has been recognized with numerous industry honors from Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, Clio Awards, Asia Spikes and the Effie Awards, among others.

“I am deeply passionate about creativity and the art of building purposeful brands. I am incredibly thrilled to be joining WPP, a company dedicated to creative transformation, and partnering with Liz, Joe and the esteemed team at Ogilvy, and collaboration with Manuel Bordé and VMLY&R Commerce,” said Matos in a statement. “Together, we will collaborate on creating world-class work for SC Johnson, a brand that has a profound positive impact on society. I couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity.”

He also joins Ogilvy as the agency has won business including Verizon’s b-to-b marketing efforts and H&R Block.
