WPP-backed Johannes Leonardo has hired Hope Nardini as creative director in its New York headquarters. Nardini hails from McCann New York, where she was a part of the team that created the first of Verizon’s two “First Responders” ads that appeared in the past two Super Bowls.

At McCann New York, she also was involved in the making of the Ad Council’s integrated “She Can STEM” campaign that encourages girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
