Grey Hires Vonda LePage as Chief Communications Officer

Grey made two additions to its leadership team, hiring Vonda LePage as chief communications officer, and Erin Joyce as head of social in New York.

LePage will report to global CEO Laura Maness and is tasked with overseeing Grey’s global communications strategy.

LePage brings decades of strategic communications experience, previously serving as executive vice president and director of communications at Deutsch, where she shaped external and internal communications. She also held leadership roles at Edelman Worldwide and FCB and is a past co-chair of the 4A’s Communications Committee. She has helped promote brand awareness and visibility for agencies and clients including AB InBev, GoDaddy, Microsoft, Nabisco, Pfizer, Reebok and Volkswagen.

In all my conversations, I’ve been impressed with their passion, intentionality and plans to strengthen Grey’s legendary storytelling prowess and client work,” said LePage in a statement.

LePage added that Grey is a creative powerhouse with a dynamic leadership team that cares about creativity, its people and nurturing the brand.

Joyce will leverage her over 10 years of experience developing digital content for top brands. She is a creative thinker, content producer, strategist and advocate for best-in-class social campaigns. She will report to Thiago Cruz, chief creative officer of Grey New York.

Joyce joins Grey from Google’s Creative Works team, where she served as global creative lead and head of the Americas. Before that, she was senior creative at Twitch’s branded content studio. Her work has been recognized by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Producers Guild of America, Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
